Hello Weather Watchers!
Snow should develop after 7-8PM
A slippery commute is possible.
Temperatures should hover around freezing like they have most of the day across Central and South Central areas. Upper level temperatures will be cold unlike the last event where it was below freezing at the surface and above freezing 3-4000′ above causing the surface very slick conditions we saw during our last storm- again, not anticipating that scenario this round.
Here are our thoughts.
The longer we can get temps to stay around freezing the more snow we could see- hence why we used 4″ as our top end total.
Most should see around 2″ on grassy surfaces and a few slushy spots on roadways.

Snow is falling SW of Enid.. most of the Precip in Western KS is still rain at this point.
Here are current conditions:
As the Precip moves ENE… it will encounter Colder air and Snow will likely fall over Central and South Central KS- sooner than later.
