Good morning Weather Watchers!

After RECORD High temperatures Sunday, Winter has returned!

Current Watches, Warnings & Advisories:

The initial Cold front has moved through and will stall from SW Texas Northeastward through Southeast KS… areas to the North of this Cold front will receive Heavy Snow 4-7″ as a developing Low tracks along the boundary.

A secondary area of precipitation will develop this morning along a much colder boundary across KANSAS.

This area of Precip could produce Freezing Drizzle which will likely make things SLICK Tuesday morning into the afternoon before changing over to ALL Snow by mid afternoon. A Trace to 2″ is possible along this secondary boundary.

Notice that Snow on the backside of this system may provide KC with a glancing taste of Snow prior to the CHIEFS Victory Celebration…..

They are expecting 1-1.4 MILLION PEOPLE!!!

After this piece of energy moves through – we return to NEAR NORMAL temps before another system moves through next week. It is one of our signature systems…

We will keep you posted.

Have a great day and AS ALWAYS….SHARE YOUR WEATHER WITH US!!
