Hello Weather Watchers!


A small wave in the atmosphere has caused this mini snow event this morning.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon for the areas in Purple below.

Expect around an inch or so of snow between 6am-12pm today. This snow wont melt due to frigid temps.

Here is radar showing the final strong band trek West to East along I-70.

If you have pictures- please send them as roadways ARE LIKELY HAZARDOUS.

Temperatures are in the Single digits and will only move into the teens by this afternoon – a VERY COLD DAY AND OVERNIGHT IS IN STORE!

We finally move into the 20s on Wednesday.

Wind Chills might reach ADVISORY levels this evening tonight- STAY TUNED…

A brief warm up into the 30s Thursday before another Clipper type system move in with Cold temps and flurries New Years Eve.
