Hello Weather Watchers!

As with most all of our systems this winter the area of best snow production will be found in over the Northern 1/4 of the State. As COLD a continues to spill in from the North it will squeeze every bit of moisture out of the atmosphere. It will be a very dry and powdery snow with a moisture content of 15″ of snow to 1″ of liquid. The normal ratio is around 10″ of snow to 1″ of liquid or for every 1/10 of an inch of liquid you get 1″ of snow.

We will have more snow but less moisture- interesting isn’t it?

Here are our thoughts on timing
