Happy Thursday Weather Watchers!!

Here are the Severe threats today:

     Thunderstorms should develop along a dryline in Western KS around 5-6 pm. Here is what models are thinking:

Here is the 9pm Simulation that starts to show development long Hwy36 in Northern KS.  


Supercells will be likely initially before Storms transition into one or two LARGE complexes called MCS- Mesoscale Convective Systems.

Flooding is becoming an issue for Northern sections of the State as the High stays entrenched over South Central KS.

A brief pattern change is likely Sun-Tues before we warm up again for an extended period of time as we have been forecasting.
